पंजाब (Punjab) के मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह (Amarinder Singh) शनिवार को जब कुछ शर्तों के साथ नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू (Navjot Singh Sidhu) को राज्य कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष बनाए जाने पर राजी हो गए थे तो लग रहा था कि पंजाब कांग्रेस की कलह खत्म हो गई है. अमरिंदर सिंह ने शनिवार को कहा था कि पार्टी प्रमुख सोनिया गांधी का हर एक फैसला उन्हें मंजूर है. लेकिन रविवार को इसमें एक और पेच सामने आ गया है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक, अब मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह का समर्थन करने वाले पंजाब के सांसदों ने कांग्रेस प्रमुख सोनिया गांधी (Sonia Gandhi) से मुलाकात के लिए समय मांगा है.
